And so we begin anew...

This is our new family blog. We have previously posted under several other titles using our children's names, but want one more permanent, and less one-child-centric. (I am allowed to make up my own words here, right?)

At any rate, we are hoping to use this as a way to communicate with you that we are in the world and not of it, and to remind ourselves of this. (I tend to get caught up in the world of laundry, housework, and things that could quickly be destroyed or at least greatly modified in a matter of seconds by any normal 2-year-old, so this is to remind me, in particular, that I should be thinking as a pilgrim and a Christian, not as an obsessive worldly heathen.)

I will try to post regularly, but my past record has not been too good, so I leave that as my disclaimer.
